Running one business is a full-time job. Running several — plus research, trading analysis, content, security, and client delivery — should be impossible for one person. TheHelm is the answer to that impossibility: a single operations dashboard where a fleet of AI agents works around the clock, and everything they do is visible, reviewable, and steerable from one place.
It's also the most honest item in this portfolio, because it's not a demo. It's the system that built and operates everything else you see here.
Why it exists
Automation without visibility becomes chaos with extra steps. The premise of TheHelm is that you can delegate work to machines only as far as you can see what they're doing. So every agent — deployment, security scanning, market research, QA, content, even this portfolio's own screenshot pipeline — reports into one surface, with health checks, logs, and outcomes in plain view.
How it thinks
Agents as employees, dashboard as org chart. Each agent has a defined role, schedule, and reporting channel. The Futures research module ingests years of market data into a searchable knowledge base and builds pattern libraries from it. A second-brain voice interface means the operator can talk to the accumulated memory of the whole operation.
The architecture is deliberately composable: Flask control-api at the center, modular dashboard, Qdrant vector memory, SQLite state, Slack as the notification spine. New ventures snap in without rewiring what exists.
What it makes possible
One person operates like a staffed organization. Deployments happen with security review. Research accumulates instead of evaporating. And when something breaks at 3am, the system files a report instead of waiting for morning. The concepts here — agent orchestration, observable automation, compounding memory — are the propulsion behind every other application on this page.
The concepts that propel it
Observable automation
Every agent action lands on the dashboard — automation you can audit, not a black box.
Agents as an org chart
Named agents with roles, schedules, and Slack reporting — a workforce, managed.
Compounding memory
Vector knowledge bases that make every future task smarter than the last.
Composable core
Control-API + modular dashboard architecture where new ventures plug in cleanly.
What it delivers
- A dozen-plus agents operating on schedules with human oversight
- Years of market research ingested, searchable, and pattern-mined
- The operational backbone that runs every venture in this portfolio
